The Morris H. Taylor collection on Lorenzo Taylor contains documents pertaining to the life and mission of Lorenzo Taylor. Included is the life story of Lorenzo Taylor written by his sons, photocopies of his Hawaiian mission diary, his photocopied Hawaiian mission dictionary and weekly mission reports. Lorenzo Taylor was born 16 September 1885 in Weber County, Utah. He was a student at BYU from 1902-1903. He married Mary Maud Harding of Provo in 1904 and was called on a mission to the Sandwich Islands in the same year and served until 1908. He served as President of the Maui and Kaui conferences for 3 years, 8 months (without purse or script). He was a farmer, a high councilman and a bishop.
